Eliana

Eliana

Hi, my name is Eliana, I am a native Spanish speaker, born in Colombia. I have a degree in Elementary Education and another degree in foreign languages, I have been teaching since 2011. I am a friendly and dedicated tutor with a strong passion for teaching my beautiful language. I don´t promise that you will be Miguel de Cervantes in one class, but I can promise you, that every single class will be meaningful and full of fun. Thereby, at the end of each class, you will have learned something new in Spanish. More than a teacher, I am a guide who is willing to show you the Spanish language in a practical way. For instance, we will be learning useful expressions, local slang, basic Spanish to keep a conversation with a native Spanish speaker, and even what to say and what not to say when getting romantically involved with a Spanish native speaker.

Hi Guys! This is Edward, I am 28 years old and I am a native Spanish speaker. I am from Colombia and I would like to share something about my culture with you all. I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English and I have been teaching for about 5 years. I am a very friendly and opened mind person who likes to talk about everything, especially Latino culture. I am a very committed and passionate tutor who likes to teach in a meaningful and funny way. More than a teacher, I want to be a guide to show you the advantages and experiences that you will have when speaking a foreign language in a real context. Therefore, I guarantee that at the end of each class you will learn something new in Spanish. Learning Spanish, we will have the chance to learn some expressions, local slang, how to greet properly, how to communicate with others naturally and spontaneously and, the most important thing, how to act when you are interacting with a Latino.
Tatiana

Tatiana

Hello, my name is Tatiana Tabares. I am from Bogotá- Colombia. I have a bachelor degree in English and Spanish. I am an experienced teacher, who has been teaching both languages for five years so far. I have been working with children, teenagers, and adults using different teaching techniques and resources. I especially use activities, in which my students can interact all the time due to speaking, is one of the most important elements in my classes, they can also learn while playing and having fun. I have worked at different places including The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago where I worked as a Spanish tutor for the Department of Modern Languages. I also worked as a Spanish assistant at Sibley Elementary school in the United States for the Spanish immersion program. These two experiences have let me grow as a teacher because I have learnt how to create more strategies and have more ideas about the way to teach Spanish using an effective communicative approach. I am a dedicated person who is always trying to innovate and look for different ways to make people improve their language skills. I would love to help you out to learn this amazing language, which is today the second most spoken language in the world. What are you waiting for? Let’s start this incredible adventure.
